Air Fryer Salmon Filets

A quick and easy recipe for perfectly cooked salmon filets using an air fryer. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned simply with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Ingredients

Scale

2 salmon filets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Pat the salmon filets dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of each salmon filet with olive oil.
Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper evenly over both sides of the salmon filets.
Place the salmon filets skin-side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the salmon filets from the air fryer using a spatula.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
