Quick and easy air fryer salmon cooked directly from frozen, resulting in a tender, flaky fillet with a perfectly crisp exterior. No thawing required!
2 frozen salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon wedges, for serving
Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Brush both sides of the frozen salmon fillets with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Place the seasoned frozen salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin side down if applicable.
Cook the salmon for 12 minutes at 390°F (200°C), checking for doneness after 10 minutes. The salmon should flake easily with a fork and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
