Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef
4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary and transfer the beef to a plate.
In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Add the sliced onion and cook for 2 minutes until slightly softened.
Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring constantly for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and stir-fry for 5 to 7 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still crisp.
Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet and mix well with the cabbage and onions.
Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine evenly.
Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes, adjusting to taste.
Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
