Air Fryer Shrimp and Sausage

A quick and flavorful air fryer recipe featuring juicy shrimp and savory sausage, perfect for a delicious and easy meal.

1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 ounces smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the seasoning blend.
Add the shrimp and sliced sausage to the bowl and toss thoroughly to coat all pieces evenly with the seasoning blend.
Place the seasoned shrimp and sausage in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 6 minutes.
After 6 minutes, shake the basket or use tongs to turn the shrimp and sausage pieces for even cooking.
Continue cooking for an additional 6 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the sausage is browned and heated through.
Remove the shrimp and sausage from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish.
Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
