A quick and flavorful air fryer salmon recipe marinated in a savory soy sauce blend, delivering tender and perfectly cooked fish with a delicious umami glaze.
2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for 10 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and place the fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer to serving plates.
Drizzle any remaining marinade over the salmon and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
