A quick and flavorful air fryer salmon recipe infused with fresh ginger and garlic, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.
2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, cut into wedges
In a small bowl, whisk together grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the ginger marinade over them, turning to coat both sides evenly. Let marinate for 10 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer to serving plates.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the salmon.
