  • 1 cup of milk (for soaking)
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Soak the beef liver in milk for 1-2 hours to reduce bitterness.
  2. Remove the liver from the milk and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dredge the liver slices in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the liver slices and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  7. Remove the liver and set aside.
  8. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft.
  9. Return the liver to the skillet, mix with onions and garlic, and cook for an additional minute.
  10. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
