  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the mashed bananas, milk, sugar, melted butter, and egg.
  2. In another bowl, mix the flour, yeast, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
