  • 1 medium beet, roasted and pureed
  • 1 bottle of red wine (750ml)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 2 cups soda water
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Roast the beet until tender, then let it cool and puree it in a blender.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, orange juice, brandy, simple syrup, and beet puree.
  3. Add the sliced orange, lemon, and diced apple to the mixture.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, add the soda water for a fizzy touch.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to your taste.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the wine and brandy with grape juice and additional soda water.
