  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can cream cheese frosting
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • Red food coloring
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cake pan.
  2. Mix the red velvet cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake according to package instructions.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
  5. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the cream cheese frosting until well combined.
  6. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  9. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into each cake ball.
  10. Coat each cake pop in the melted white chocolate and let excess chocolate drip off.
  11. Drizzle red food coloring over the cake pops to create a ‘bloody’ effect.
  12. Sprinkle with optional sprinkles for decoration.
  13. Let the cake pops set before serving.
