  • 2 lbs of steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  5. Grill or sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.
  6. Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
