  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sweet corn, shredded cheese, flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg.
  3. Pour the milk mixture into the corn mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
