Christmas Deviled Eggs

A festive twist on the classic deviled eggs, perfect for Christmas gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red and green bell peppers, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and letting sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel and slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  5. Garnish with finely chopped red and green bell peppers and fresh parsley.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
  • These can be made a day in advance for convenience.
  • Experiment with different garnishes like paprika or olives for variety.
