  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the green beans for about 5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in the blanched green beans and 2/3 cup of the crispy fried onions.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining fried onions on top.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
