A quick and hearty one-pan meal featuring savory ground beef and caramelized Brussels sprouts.
1 lb ground beef
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Optional: red pepper flakes
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet, stir to combine, and cook for another 8-10 minutes until sprouts are tender and caramelized.
Adjust seasoning as needed and serve warm.
