Crimson Hibiscus Rum Punch

  • 2 cups brewed hibiscus tea
  • 1 cup white rum
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 cup soda water
  • Fresh lime slices for garnish
  • Hibiscus flowers for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew hibiscus tea and let it cool.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled hibiscus tea, white rum, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  3. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
  4. Just before serving, add soda water to the mixture.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lime slices and hibiscus flowers if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to your taste.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add more soda water.
  • This punch can be made in advance; just add soda water right before serving to keep it fizzy.
