  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Sprinkle half of the brown sugar over the batter.
  8. Pour the remaining batter on top and sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool before drizzling with the glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
