A delicious and easy-to-make loaded meatloaf casserole that combines the flavors of classic meatloaf with a cheesy, comforting twist.

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into a loaf shape.
  4. Place the meatloaf in a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheese and bacon bits if using.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
