Eggnog Bread Pudding

Eggnog Bread Pudding is a rich and creamy dessert that combines the festive flavors of eggnog with soft bread, making it a perfect holiday treat.

  • 6 cups of cubed bread
  • 4 cups of eggnog
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of raisins (optional)
  • Butter for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggnog, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  4. Add the cubed bread and raisins (if using) to the mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
