  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Divide the dough in half. Mix cocoa powder into one half and leave the other half plain.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of both doughs onto a baking sheet, swirling them together to create a marbled effect.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of each cookie.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • These cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months.
