Ingredients

Scale

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch wide strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons water
2 cups panko breadcrumbs
Cooking spray

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and water until fully combined.
Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
Dip each chicken strip first into the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Next, dip the floured chicken strip into the egg mixture, coating it completely.
Finally, coat the chicken strip with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
Place the breaded chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Once all strips are coated, place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the chicken strips for at least 2 hours or until solid.
After freezing, transfer the chicken strips to a resealable freezer bag or airtight container. Label and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To cook, preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Place frozen chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly spray them with cooking spray.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken strips are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
