2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 loaf French bread, sliced in half lengthwise
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, 2 cloves minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, and milk. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Shape the mixture into 12 evenly sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the garlic butter. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, 3 cloves minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley until combined.
Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the French bread halves.
Remove the meatballs from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each meatball.
Place the meatballs evenly on the garlic buttered bread halves.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and bread.
Place the assembled garlic bread meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, let cool for 2 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
