  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of water

  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced carrots and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the brown sugar, water, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
  5. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.
