Ingredients

Scale

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup warm water (about 110°F)
1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir to mix evenly.
Add 3/4 cup warm water and 1 tablespoon olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until a sticky dough forms.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rest at room temperature for 1 hour until it has risen and bubbles appear on the surface.
After the dough has risen, lightly flour a clean surface and turn the dough out onto it. Fold the dough over itself gently a couple of times to shape it into a rough ball. Do not knead.
Lightly grease a small round heatproof pan or air fryer-safe baking dish that fits inside your air fryer basket. Place the dough ball into the pan.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the pan with dough into the air fryer basket. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
Carefully remove the bread from the air fryer and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
