A quick and easy one pot creamy fettuccine recipe that combines pasta, garlic, cream, and Parmesan cheese into a luscious, comforting dish perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale

12 ounces fettuccine pasta
4 cups water
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

In a large deep skillet or pot, combine the fettuccine pasta, water, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking.
Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the pasta is al dente and most of the water has evaporated, about 12 to 15 minutes.
Lower the heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream and unsalted butter until well combined and heated through.
Add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth.
Remove from heat and sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the top.
Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
