1 cup chopped pecans
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Spread the chopped pecans evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Pour the mixture over the pecans.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top.
Do not stir; just pour the melted butter over the cake mix.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
