A quick and flavorful beef stir fry with fresh veggies, perfect for a fast and satisfying dinner.
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked rice, to serve
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
Add the beef slices and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil to the pan. Stir-fry garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add carrots and broccoli; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
Add bell pepper and cook another 2 minutes.
Return beef to the pan and stir to combine.
Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch mixture. Stir until sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot over cooked rice.
