Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
Mix salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar to create a dry rub.
Apply the dry rub evenly over both sides of the pork ribs.
Place ribs on a baking sheet, cover tightly with foil, and slow-cook in the oven for 3 hours.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Remove ribs from oven and brush generously with barbecue sauce.
