Tender and flaky salmon fillet baked in a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
2 salmon fillets
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 cloves minced garlic
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, taking care not to brown the garlic.
Remove from heat and stir in fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley.
Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
Season the salmon with salt and black pepper to taste.
Brush the lemon garlic butter sauce generously over each salmon fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is tender and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from oven and let rest for 2 minutes before plating.
Serve the salmon fillet centered on a white round plate, garnished with lemon slices and additional parsley.
