1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 cups marinara sauce
2 cups water
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
12 ounces dry ziti pasta
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Pour the marinara sauce and water over the chicken.
Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper evenly over the sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 3 hours.
Remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker and shred them using two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the sauce.
Add the dry ziti pasta to the slow cooker and stir well to coat the pasta with the sauce.
Cover and cook on low for an additional 1 hour and 30 minutes, stirring halfway through to prevent sticking.
