2 pounds of carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
1/4 cup of maple syrup
2 tablespoons of butter
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
Instructions
Place the peeled and cut carrots in the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, melted butter, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
Pour the maple mixture over the carrots and stir to coat.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the carrots are tender.
Stir before serving and enjoy your sweet side dish!
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg.
