2 racks of baby back ribs
1 cup of barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.
Remove the ribs from the oven and brush with barbecue sauce.
Grill the ribs on medium heat for 5-10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the spice rub.
Feel free to adjust the spice levels according to your taste.
These ribs can also be cooked on a smoker for a deeper flavor.
