2 slices sliced white bread
2 slices mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Butter one side of each bread slice evenly.
Place one slice of bread in the skillet, butter side down.
Layer the mozzarella cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
Cover with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
Grill for about 3-4 minutes until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
Carefully flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted and gooey.
Remove from skillet and let cool slightly before cutting diagonally into two halves.
Stack the halves slightly offset on a white ceramic plate and serve immediately.
