Classic chocolate chip cookies with chewy edges and a soft, slightly crisp center, loaded with sweet semi-sweet chocolate chips.
2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup Granulated sugar
3/4 cup Brown sugar, packed
2 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are set but still soft.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
