Soft slider buns stuffed with sliced turkey breast and Swiss cheese, baked with a butter and Dijon mustard glaze topped with poppy seeds and minced onion. The result is a warm, rustic slider with a gooey interior and a slightly crisp top.

Ingredients

Scale

12 slider buns
8 oz sliced turkey breast
8 slices Swiss cheese
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon minced onion

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice slider buns horizontally without separating completely and place in a rectangular baking dish.
Layer the sliced turkey breast evenly over the bottom half of the buns.
Place Swiss cheese slices on top of the turkey layer.
Cover with the top halves of the buns.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and minced onion to create the glaze.
Brush the glaze generously over the tops of the sliders.
Bake uncovered for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown with a slightly crisp texture.
Remove from oven and slightly pull apart sliders to show melted cheese before serving.
