A quick and easy cheesy quesadilla made with melted cheddar cheese between crispy flour tortillas. Perfect for a snack or light meal.
2 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Place one flour tortilla flat in the skillet.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tortilla.
Place the second tortilla on top of the cheese, pressing gently.
Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
Using a spatula, carefully flip the quesadilla and cook the other side for another 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it cool for 1 minute.
Cut into 4 wedges and serve immediately.
