Garlic Bread Appetizer

A classic garlic bread appetizer featuring a crispy baguette topped with a flavorful garlic butter spread, perfect for serving alongside pasta, soups, or salads.

Ingredients

Scale

1 French baguette, about 12 inches long
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the baguette in half lengthwise to create two long halves.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of both baguette halves.
Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing into 1-inch pieces.
Serve warm as an appetizer.
