Grilled Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

A simple and flavorful recipe for perfectly grilled boneless skinless chicken breasts, juicy and tender with a delicious charred exterior.

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried oregano.
Brush both sides of each chicken breast with olive oil.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts, pressing gently to adhere.
Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill.
Grill the chicken for 6 minutes on the first side without moving it to get good grill marks.
Flip the chicken breasts and grill for an additional 6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the juices run clear.
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
