Ingredients

Scale

8 chicken drumsticks, skin on
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
Place the chicken drumsticks in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the drumsticks, ensuring each piece is well coated.
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Arrange the marinated drumsticks on the wire rack, spacing them evenly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, turning the drumsticks halfway through, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
