Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks

Crispy and juicy air fryer chicken drumsticks seasoned with a flavorful blend of spices, perfect for a quick and easy dinner.

8 chicken drumsticks, skin on
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss well to evenly coat all pieces with the seasoning mixture.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Place the seasoned drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
Cook the drumsticks at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes.
Flip the drumsticks over and continue cooking for an additional 12-13 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
Remove the drumsticks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
