Enjoy a flavorful and juicy grilled salmon inspired by Texas Roadhouse’s signature style. This recipe features a simple yet delicious marinade and a perfectly grilled salmon fillet with a buttery, lemony finish.
4 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Brush both sides of each salmon fillet with olive oil.
Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets, pressing gently to adhere.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the preheated grill.
Grill the salmon for 5 to 6 minutes without moving, until grill marks form and the salmon releases easily from the grill.
Carefully flip the salmon fillets and grill for an additional 5 to 6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon is grilling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley.
Once the salmon is done, transfer to serving plates and spoon the lemon butter sauce over each fillet.
Serve immediately.
