A quick and healthy dish featuring perfectly cooked shrimp and tender asparagus, seasoned and air fried to crispy perfection.
12 ounces raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces (about 12 ounces)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp and asparagus pieces.
Add olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Toss everything together until the shrimp and asparagus are evenly coated.
Place the shrimp and asparagus mixture in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping.
Carefully remove the shrimp and asparagus from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
