A simple and delicious garlic bread recipe made with basic bread, butter, and garlic. Perfect as a side dish or snack.
1 loaf of French bread (about 12 inches)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise.
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix well until fully combined.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread halves.
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
Slice the garlic bread into serving pieces and serve warm.
