A quick and flavorful dish featuring succulent shrimp and smoky sausage cooked to perfection in the air fryer. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a casual gathering.
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 ounces smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the seasoning blend.
Add the shrimp and sliced sausage to the bowl and toss until all pieces are evenly coated with the seasoning blend.
Arrange the shrimp and sausage in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
Cook in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to promote even browning. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the sausage is browned.
Remove from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish.
Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the shrimp and sausage before serving.
