A quick and healthy air fryer salmon recipe served with a creamy dill sauce. Perfectly cooked salmon with a fresh and tangy sauce that complements the rich flavor of the fish.
2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of each salmon fillet with olive oil.
Season the salmon fillets evenly with 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and garlic powder.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon cooks, prepare the dill sauce by combining Greek yogurt, fresh dill, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper in a small bowl.
Mix the sauce thoroughly until smooth and well combined.
Once the salmon is cooked, carefully remove it from the air fryer.
Serve each salmon fillet with a generous spoonful of the dill sauce on top or on the side.
