A deliciously soft and buttery garlic bread loaded with melted cheese, perfect as a snack or side dish. This cheesy garlic bread is easy to make and baked to golden perfection.
1 loaf of French bread (about 12 inches)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix well until evenly blended.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of both bread halves.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over both halves, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cheese side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
Cut the cheesy garlic bread into slices and serve warm.
