1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
Lemon wedges, for serving
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt to make the blackening seasoning.
Place the salmon cubes in a medium bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss gently to coat evenly.
Sprinkle the blackening seasoning over the salmon cubes and toss again to ensure all pieces are well coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Arrange the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching to allow even cooking. You may need to cook in batches.
Cook the salmon bites in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 7 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to promote even crisping. The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.
Carefully remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the bites.
