Air Fryer Salmon from Frozen

A quick and easy method to cook perfectly tender and flaky salmon directly from frozen using an air fryer. No need to thaw, just season and air fry for a healthy meal in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

2 salmon fillets, frozen, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Brush both sides of the frozen salmon fillets with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin side down if applicable.
Cook the salmon at 390°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, checking at 12 minutes to ensure even cooking.
The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for 2 minutes.
Serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
