1 loaf French bread, sliced in half lengthwise
1/2 cup basil pesto sauce
1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the French bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Brush the cut sides of the French bread with olive oil evenly.
Spread the basil pesto sauce evenly over the cut sides of both bread halves.
Distribute the cooked chicken breast evenly over the pesto layer.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the chicken.
