1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
Lemon wedges, for serving
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and kosher salt to make the blackening seasoning.
Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Place the salmon cubes in a mixing bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and toss gently to coat evenly.
Sprinkle the blackening seasoning over the salmon cubes and toss again to ensure all pieces are evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
Cook the salmon bites at 400°F (200°C) for 7 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping. The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
